A Mastermind is a peer-to-peer mentoring group used to help members solve their problems with input and advice from the other group members. The concept was coined in 1925 by author Napoleon Hill in his book The Law of Success

A Mastermind group is similar to a company`s board of directors with the difference that there are no interests involved, no hierarchy, no strings attached so all members are free to express their unbiased opinion.
Also, Mastermind groups tend to be more successful the more the professional and cultural background of the participants is varied as it becomes a unique opportunity to obtain opinions from different perspectives.

Cultivating/belonging to a mastermind group is deeply rooted in the American business culture and most of the American Presidents and company tycoons including Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Theodore Roosevelt, John D. Rockefeller, Charles M. Schwab, and others were fervent preachers of using this tool for idea gathering and decision making.

Mastermind paid services

Since 2020, Kobe Mastermind is aiming at structuring as a flexible platform of consultants.
We can coagulate around some projects according to the interest/expertise.

Members of the group can provide services to other members that can be free of charge (advice) or paid (professional services)
Members can use this platform to show their expertise and to find complementary partners to increase even more their capability of providing an added value.
Most information, advice, and mentorship remain free but there is a possibility to monetize the expertise of some members that provide their service not just as friends but as professionals. The paid services are agreed between members usually through a “performance reward” which means that the payment for services is based on the increased revenue obtained through the service.
