The meeting starts with everyone in the group sharing a success they had since the last meeting. Then, if the group wants, there may be a short education segment to discuss a topic or a chapter from a book. We then have the “Hot Seats” portion of the meeting which takes the bulk of the time.
There is no fixed agenda in the meetings. The Members decide the agenda and can ask for a modification if they have a urgent matter they want to discuss.
Here below is a general guideline:
1:intro
A standard meeting would start with a corner where all participants share a brief success story they had since the last meetings. New Members make a short self introduction.
2: topic
Then there may be section dedicated to a topic that was shared in a past meeting, a struggle, a new opportunity that can be of common interest. In some cases an external expert can be brought in to share knowledge about the hot topic.
3: hot seats
The main part of the mastermind would consist in one or more hot-seat. Members explain the concrete problem they are facing and receive advise/opinions from the other members. For instance they have to decide if taking a job or not, brainstorm the title for a book or choose a design for their homepage.
4: committment
The meeting ends with everyone setting a goal to accomplish before the next meeting.
